How to Go From Zero Clients to Full-time With Your Biggest Passion in Less Than a Year by Erica Wisborg

Imagine starting your own business, quitting your job, and making a full-time salary in your company only by working 80 hours per month with customers. 

Imagine doing this journey from your dream home in your dream country.

You live by the ocean and hear the waves when you wake up every morning. 

All this in less than a year. 

What if I told you that this is possible?

Because that's me, that's my journey. 

But around 4,5 months ago, this was me:

• 0 paying customers in my business

• I worked 10-12 hours daily trying to find my first customer.

• I deprioritized my health, family, and friends because my whole life revolved around my business.

• I gave away my offers for free because I wanted to "help people and get testimonials."

I woke up every day feeling drained. I had put in so much work and effort, but I didn't receive anything back. I felt lost and unsure of what I wanted with my business. 

I worked part-time in a gym because I had no money left. I had spent almost all my savings on courses that didn't teach me what I needed to learn in my business and on providing for myself when I had no revenue. 

Then, something happened in such a short amount of time.

I decided to invest in Business & Dreams Academy, a 5-month money mindset program. And it changed everything.

I got several paying customers, became a thought leader in my niche on LinkedIn (which made my customers come to ME), moved from Sweden to Spain, raised my prices so I could work less and earn more, discovered what I really wanted to do, and dared to change my business idea so it felt aligned with who I am and what I really love to do. 

I did this by doing one thing:

Open up my mindset. 

I learned what I was capable of and became fearless about things I had been pushing forward for so long. I became aware of my biggest mindset blocks and realized that I had been self-sabotaging, which led to me not getting customers, being underpaid, and feeling unaligned with what I did. 

Here are my biggest lessons during these five months: 

1. It does not matter how much knowledge you have about something; it's always your thoughts and emotions that matter at the end of the day 

I knew a lot about... a lot. But my actions and the way my life looked said the opposite. It was not aligned with what I wanted, and that's how I knew that I needed change and help to get there.

2. When you start working on your mindset, it will open up opportunities and ideas you could never have imagined. 

Imagine you're starting to walk on a path in the woods. You must figure out where to go because you have never been there. Then, even smaller paths open up, and you choose which one you want to go to based on your gut feeling and your inner voice. And then, suddenly, you find your destination.

My point is that your mind IS on these paths. They show up because you started to walk on that first one, and now new ideas come to you without you even trying. 

3. Your business will only grow as much as you grow yourself. Therefore, you must work on yourself and your mindset to reach your money and freedom goals. 

When you start working on yourself, you create space for your business to grow in the way you want it to. Because your business is YOU. So how could it grow if you are not? This is why investing in myself and my mindset is the best decision I've ever made during these months.
